WTC Memorial.

I was reading a bit about the plans for the memorial again... and had a few thoughts.

This memorial should be for the people who lost their lives, and to commemorate the firemen and policemen who gaves their lives in the line of duty trying to save those people. This should absolutely NOT be used as a tool to promote patriotism and freedom and all the other things that have been used as propaganda tools to promote illegitimate wars overseas and restrictions and basic rights and freedoms domestically.

I don't see why this is so hard for people to understand. Sure the memorial can be a place of free speech... but those people didn't die for freedom, and neither did those civil servants who gave their lives. They were innocent and unknowing victims and good men and women doing their job to serve and protect. They didn't die for the war on terror... that was an after the fact invention of the government to justify their narrowminded and ignorant pursuit of childish, dangerous, illegal and ultimately greatly damaging to the entire world, REVENGE.

Don't sully the memories of the victims in the memorial itself. People are going to be more than happy to bring in their American Flags later, and I'm sure there will also be the people who will want to distribute flyers about "the truth behind 9/11!" or whatever other beliefs they might have. That is a matter of their personal expression... it should NOT be built into the memorial itself. I don't think I can make this any clearer.

The Great Ground Zero Heist.

Take back the Memorial.
