Well, I've foolishly stayed up all night chatting, screwing around, and working on actually getting a real live phreadom.com site online. I updated PHP and MySQL on my server, installed the latest Wordpress stable release and went through doing configuration and such... started digging into the themes to familiarize myself with the code and figure out how I'm going to port my phreadom.com design over to a Wordpress theme.
I know that it's at least partially possible, but it might require either a few sacrifices, or some heavy duty additional coding.
On that note, it's time for bed (or was about 12 hours ago).
(I'd "unveil" what I'm working on... but I want to have something impressive to show when I do that.)

It seems like I'm going to have to sacrifice some of that vision to fit the mold of a blogging package like Wordpress though. :-( We'll see how it goes.
